Ben Stewart joined Cornerstone Recruiting in 2009 to assist in the development of recruitment for the local manufacturing industry and became a partner in 2016. He was quick to develop relationships in the industry and moved into a Recruiting Account Manager role where he handled full life cycle recruiting and account management responsibilities. After building a thriving manufacturing division, due to consistently sourcing and delivering the top talent our clients expect, Ben began to build national relationships within the construction and engineering industries. He brings a wealth of recruiting experience to Cornerstone, with particular strengths in building and maintaining executive level relationships, recruiting passive candidates, and providing exceptional service to his customers. Ben’s business philosophy is that everything begins and ends with exceptional service. Ben is actively involved in all facets of the business, but primarily business development, account management, training, and recruiting.
Prior to Cornerstone, he served as a Recruiter with Aerotek Commercial where he provided full life-cycle recruiting to The Baltimore/Washington area’s largest, most prominent manufacturing companies.
Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in Education with a Minor in Economics from St. Mary’s College, Maryland’s only Public Honors College. He was a 3-year letterman and Team Captain of the Men’s Basketball team.
He and his beautiful wife, Nichole, spend much of their time happily raising their son and daughter. During his free time, Ben coaches youth basketball, is an avid golfer, and loves cheering on his Indiana Hoosiers!
